We are committed to supporting education and learning from practitioners, educators, parents, carers and volunteers and as such, we offer a selection of up-to-date training and learning inputs to suit a range of learners. In 2026, we will be delivering our ‘Drivers of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence’ training package across Scotland. All other training packages can be delivered for small or large groups.

Introduction to Harmful Sexual Behaviour
This full day event aims to support professional understanding of the multi-layered complexities of harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) and explores contextual and rights respecting approaches in supporting children and young people. The input will support learners to gain further knowledge into the pathways and contributing factors that can lead to problematic or harmful sexual behaviour occurring and explores methods of prevention via psycho-educational and interpersonal interventions.
Learning Outcomes:

Drivers of Sexual & Gender-Based Violence
This course is designed to support organisations, education establishments and professionals gain knowledge on societal factors that contribute to sexual and gender-based violence including generational and wider social influences including Incel subcultures and pornography. The course explores how an individual’s experiences of gender and early years can contribute to wider issues across their life discourse. The course provides methods to tackle harmful gender stereotypes and how as a society we support boys and young men to prevent all forms of sexual and gender-based violence.

Child Protection & Gender-Responsive Safeguarding
An introductory course to child protection and safeguarding. The course provides learners with a foundational understanding of child protection and can be embedded within an organisations mandatory training and staff induction process with an annual refreshed available. The course covers core legislative and legal obligations within the context of child protection and tackles range of themes such as spotting signs of abuse and neglect. The course is reviewed annually to ensure it is in lines with national guidelines.

Autism & Harmful Sexual Behaviour
This course specifically explores the psycho-sexual development of autistic children and young people and factors that influence problematic or harmful sexual behaviour unique to this population. The course covers unique factors that often are prevalent within this group and provide learners with case studies and intervention guidance when working with autistic children and young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour. The course is embedded on a socio-ecological response to tackling harmful sexual behaviour and how we support children, young people and their families in achieving positive outcomes and early interventions.
